New Year’s Eve 2016
New Year’s Eve camping event at Olive Glen Farm from
31 December 2015 to 03 January 2016
As we count down the minutes and watch as 2015 ends, we’d sure like to spend this fabulous moment with our WCNA family, as well as your naturist friends!!!
So join us in the majestic Du Toits Kloof Mountains for a fantastic 4 days camping event to celebrate and be of good cheer and most of all to welcome into our lives a Happy New 2016 Year!!
Olive Glen Farm is a private campsite next to the upper reaches of the Wildepaardejacht River in the Du Toits Kloof mountain range.
The grassed terraced camping site is next to the large entertainment / kitchen area (Riverhouse) with a fabulous open deck overlooking the river and surrounding mountains and can also be completely enclosed with durable fold up sheeting partitions.
And if you don’t feel like pitching a tent there is ample space inside the entertainment area to bed down with your mattress or sleeping bag.
There is no electricity in the entire camp site but the ample candle provided by the owners actually emphasizes the natural romantic beauty of camping in nature’s garden.
In the entertainment area there is an indoor braai with 2 braai grids, a pizza oven with pizza paddle, a double wash up sink, 18 plastic chairs, 3 picnic fold up tables as well as various furniture items and cleaning tools.
There are two outside fireplace sites, BUT, as it is summer, PLEASE DO NOT braai outside if the wind comes up, which can happen in these mountains.
Although there are ample glasses provided it is advisable to take your own cutlery and glasses.
The spacey Ablution house is opposite the Entertainment area (Riverhouse) with 2 flush toilets, a 150 litre solar shower, 3 sinks and also limited but adequate solar LED lighting.
The River is Olive Glen’s border; the area on the other side of the river belongs to someone else, so please do not venture across the river!!
There is a spacious splash pool in the river just below the Riverhouse as well as a dam above the Riverhouse, which has a cable slide and has no time restriction this year, so we can use the dam all day.
Please note that the Orange House up the valley is private property and a no-go area!!!! Family of the owner live there - please stay 300m from this house at all times, as they have “Dangerous” dogs. Only they drive past the River House to their property, they drive a silver Nissan Xtrail.
Two last friendly requests:
Please use the supplied GREEN refuse bags for bottles and tins and the BLACK bags for everything else. When the bags are full they can be removed to the trailer beyond the Shed situated as described above.
The cost for this event is as follows:
Members: R130.00 per person per day
Pensioners members: R100.00 per person per day
Children under the age of 18: Free
